Global rap sensation Kanye West is all set to perform live for his Indian fans. Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that West will visit India in April 2026 for a highly anticipated concert tour, marking the artist’s first-ever live performance in the country.

This will be a major milestone for both West and his fans, as he is one of the most influential figures in modern music. The rapper, songwriter, and record producer's India tour is expected to become one of the biggest and most talked-about events of the year.

Known for his work across hip-hop, rap, gospel, and experimental music, Kanye West has continually pushed the boundaries of musical innovation. In addition to his music career, West has made a significant impact in the fashion world.

With 24 Grammy Awards under his belt, he stands as one of the most decorated hip-hop artists in the history of the prestigious awards. Some of his iconic tracks include Gold Digger, Stronger, Good Life, and Ultralight Beam.

Although this will be Kanye West’s first official concert tour in India, he has visited the country before under different circumstances. It is reported that in 2009, he came to India for a spiritual retreat, spending time at an ashram, and in 2012, he visited Mumbai to promote his women’s fashion line, staying at the famous Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

In recent years, global artists and bands like Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Maroon 5, Backstreet Boys, Akon, Demi Lovato, and Justin Bieber have performed in India, either through solo concerts or major festivals, drawing large crowds. International music festivals like Lollapalooza India have also seen stars such as Shawn Mendes, Green Day, Jonas Brothers, and Louis Tomlinson take the stage, highlighting the strong demand for live international music events in the country.
