ADC Ejigbo Ward, the biggest ward in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, received distinguished personalities during its January General Meeting on January 30, 2026, at Gate, Isolo, Lagos State.

Leaders from the Oshodi-Isolo Local Government of the ADC Party graced the Ejigbo Ward's General Meeting with a message of "Hope, Consistency, and Faithfulness" from the party's national leaders.

Among the stakeholders in attendance were Comrade Chidex Okafor, ADC Oshodi-Isolo LGA Chairman; Comrade Obiorah Emmanuel, ADC Oshodi-Isolo LGA Vice-Chairman; Comrade Angela, ADC Oshodi-Isolo LGA Women Leader; Comrade Nelson, ADC Oshodi-Isolo LGA Secretary; Chief John Apati, elder statesman; Comrade Chidi Asobi Peters, Conscience Forum Oshodi-Isolo LGA Chairman; Comrade Amaechi Onuoha, ADC Ejigbo Ward Chairman; and Comrade Emem, ADC Okeafa Ejigbo Women Leader.

He said, "There's no gainsaying that ADC has come to stay, win elections, and deliver qualified representatives to Nigerian masses. My interaction with the state and national leaders assures me that Nigeria will be better through our party. Though the country is presently distressed, let's be hopeful in our party. We are in good hands. The only thing we have to do is mobilize our friends, neighbors, and families to join the party. It is together that we can achieve our good intentions."

He disclosed the plans of some party hijackers, buying party membership cards in bulk so as to manipulate Congress.

"We are not ignorant of those using the backyard to buy member cards in bulk so they can win Congress. ADC is not afraid of moles or hijackers. We are prepared to counter them," he said.

Comrade Nelson, the LGA Secretary, warned Ejigbo Ward members of the dangers of believing gossip and side talks.

"Any information that is not from appropriate authorities should not be taken seriously. Gossip breeds distrust, and distrust destroys relationships. Let us refrain from hearsay," he said.

Comrade Obiorah Emmanuel, Vice-Chairman of the LGA, settled the confusion of some Ejigbo ward members regarding membership cards, membership forms, and membership dues.

"To become an ADC member, you must buy a membership card for ₦1000, fill out a membership form for ₦1000, and pay your monthly dues of ₦1000. All of these things are mandatory. And they're all requirements from national. Let us not be confused or allow distrust in any of these requirements," he said.

The Ejigbo Ward Chairman, Comrade Amaechi Onuoha, cleared the air on how leaders of ADC were appointed.

He said, "For those confused about how leaders of the ward, LGA, state, and national levels came to be, I want to inform you that we were not elected. As we all know that Congress is coming soon, before the Congress, the party needs to function. That's what prompted the party stakeholders to select trusted hands to manage the party's affairs until Congress comes. For anyone aspiring to any position, go and gather your followers. When Congress comes, you can contest for your desired positions."
